Huge Post
Hi guys! Yes, I finally posted after waiting so long not to post. Since my last post, I have sadly only released 2 things. Both were necklaces and lets start with Petal Metal. Here is the ad piccie :
What made me concoct this necklace was the beginning of spring, the flowers blooming, birds chirping, etc. I dunno, spring is a magical time to me.
This is why my next necklace was somewhat similar. This was giving my final respects to spring before summer took over.
This is why I called my latest release, "Salutations, Spring!" Making this necklace was admittedly, a bit difficult to me because the pointy flowers were hard to get even and people kept telling me to make it smaller and more delicate. Having to make all these changes turned me off in progressing with the necklace. In addition, my boyfriend recently found a nice-paying job which has allowed us to go on a video game spree. What did I get? Shadow Hearts 2 (engrossed in that one right now), Disgaea 1 & 2, Dragon Quest VIII, Rogue Galaxy, Xenosaga III, and all of the Sims 2 packs save the stuff packs. Soo..I have some roleplaying games to catch up on. I have been a bit behind with school and Second Life.
On top of the making changes and video games, the introduction of sculpties has intimidated me. Already Second Life requires people to know so many outside programs to be successful in the fashion world and sculpties is just something else for designers to learn. Yes, I love the idea and am shocked on how well some stuff looks. I can actually imagine a low-prim Second Life =D. It will take time, but hopefully lag will be a thing of the past if people like Lost can make a stunning hair in 26 prims or so.
This does not mean I am taking a break from Second Life. What it means is I am going to be going a lot slower than usual to catch up on my games and learn sculpties. I rather not put out anymore jewelry until I learn more about sculpties because there are so many ideas that have been halted in my mind because of prim limitations. As an ex., I want to make a seashell and a hemp rope for my next necklace. I have no idea how to make a seashell in Second Life, and ropes look crappy in SL. Anyway, I will -try- and update more often on the blog. Talk to you guys later!
