Huge Post

Hi guys! Yes, I finally posted after waiting so long not to post. Since my last post, I have sadly only released 2 things. Both were necklaces and lets start with Petal Metal. Here is the ad piccie : What made me concoct this necklace was the beginning of spring, the flowers blooming, birds chirping, etc. I dunno, spring is a magical time to me.

This is why my next necklace was somewhat similar. This was giving my final respects to spring before summer took over.

This is why I called my latest release, "Salutations, Spring!" Making this necklace was admittedly, a bit difficult to me because the pointy flowers were hard to get even and people kept telling me to make it smaller and more delicate. Having to make all these changes turned me off in progressing with the necklace. In addition, my boyfriend recently found a nice-paying job which has allowed us to go on a video game spree. What did I get? Shadow Hearts 2 (engrossed in that one right now), Disgaea 1 & 2, Dragon Quest VIII, Rogue Galaxy, Xenosaga III, and all of the Sims 2 packs save the stuff packs. Soo..I have some roleplaying games to catch up on. I have been a bit behind with school and Second Life.

On top of the making changes and video games, the introduction of sculpties has intimidated me. Already Second Life requires people to know so many outside programs to be successful in the fashion world and sculpties is just something else for designers to learn. Yes, I love the idea and am shocked on how well some stuff looks. I can actually imagine a low-prim Second Life =D. It will take time, but hopefully lag will be a thing of the past if people like Lost can make a stunning hair in 26 prims or so.

This does not mean I am taking a break from Second Life. What it means is I am going to be going a lot slower than usual to catch up on my games and learn sculpties. I rather not put out anymore jewelry until I learn more about sculpties because there are so many ideas that have been halted in my mind because of prim limitations. As an ex., I want to make a seashell and a hemp rope for my next necklace. I have no idea how to make a seashell in Second Life, and ropes look crappy in SL. Anyway, I will -try- and update more often on the blog. Talk to you guys later!

"Freedom" by Synthetic Dreams

Sorry for the long delay! At first, the college professors had decided that all 3 papers were going to be due at the same time. Of course, Miss Procrastinator over here, had to rush through 10 and 15 pages papers to all get in done on time. However, people complained and now my long papers are due next Thurs. At least I got them done with! In addition, I was supposed to have a collection with Digit coming up but she has just been so busy..she just told me to go ahead and release my jewelry. Here it is.. hope everyone likes it. It comes in 4 variations and is 300L for the set..

It is named Freedom after my friend but also the upcoming Freedom that I am going to be getting from school in a couple of weeks!

"Geometry" by Synthetic Dreams

Hello everyone, sorry for the long delay. The reason why is because of two reasons: (1) I got an American Eskimo puppy. They are the most adorable puppies, and his name is Ace. Right now, he's a little over 8 weeks old. On Friday, I will have had him for 2 weeks. He's a handful, but the main reason is that my mom is here for the week of Spring Break. I was hoping to get lots of time in and make jewelry, but family comes first =). Anyway, after this release, I am going to not be releasing as much because I am going to be hoarding stuff for the release of Digit's new collection so stuff purely Synthetic Dreams will be merely a side project. I am not going to tell what the collection is about, but it will definitely be hot.

Without further a due, here is Geometry by Synthetic Dreams. Hope everyone enjoys!

Hey everyone, with the end of my earring streak is a necklace that I call, "Undecided". The reason why I call it that is because of the varying lengths and sizes of each rung. I wanted to make something simple, but trendy..and of course, clunky. Clunky is a good word for it, hehe.

It's nice to see more people joining my update group, need to announce it on my update group as well. I think that in a couple of weeks I might be making another group so the next is easier to search, instead of typing the whole thing.

Without further adieu, here is Undecided. I personally <3 it!

Hope everyone enjoys!

Helping the people of SL ward of bad fashion dreams 0.0

Haha, yep..that's right, I have made dreamcatcher earrings and am quite proud of myself. However, they were quite frustrating because I would upload the feather texture, they would look nice until I logged out, and then they looked blurry =P. So I at first thought it was a SL bug, waited around a couple of days, and then decided I couldn't wait anymore and had to just figure it out.

Well, I was only going to make one type of feather combo but I figured, "Why stop there? So many different color combs you could do.." and so I made 3 more! In addition, I decided to box the silver and gold together because I didn't want to take up 8 spaces in my store hehe.

So I decided against the mod business model ,and am opting for whoever joins my update group can get 1 piece of jewelry of their choosing for FREE within 30 days of their join date. When someone decides they want their free piece, they should IM me or drop me a notecard of their decision and I will get it to them ASAP.

Anyway, here is Dreamcatcher:

Totally's 80's...and it's good to be back!

Sorry for the delay, I always want to put out a release at least once a week but first I had to wait until I got a new computer since my fan broke, then I got sick, and lastly, I am still trying to get back into Second Life mode. It's good to be back though =D.

Thinking about a couple of new ideas for my business to spruce things up for my customers such as Buy 1, Get 1 Free sales and you know how people would buy this hair or this shoe, etc. but only if something was a little different? Well, soon I am going to be implementing where customers can drop me a notecard and custom minor changes for an added low price such as an extra 10-20 L added onto the original price. And if lots of people request the same change, then I would just release the change to make it easier for both me and my customers.

Anyway, these earrings were supposed to come out after my Dreamcatcher earrings but I am not quite happy with the dreamcatcher ones yet!

Anyway, here is Totally 80's! in Gold:

Simple but fun earrings are my opinion of these...in a couple of days, watch out for the release of dreamcatcher earrings hehe^^.

Asian Blossoms

Hey guys, sorry for the slow release. Homework and computer problems have been killing me =(! I think the power source is going out on my computer and so it just likes to shut down after about half an hour of being on, especially if I am running Second Life. Don't worry, I will still be on lots because my boyfriend is letting me use his computer for Second Life if my own keeps messing up on me!

Anyway, I sketched these earrings while I was watching T.V. along with a few others. I wanted to do an Asian theme and felt that this would be a great homage with the print, the little ropes down at the bottom and top..and the huge circle. It was my artistic viewpoint for it to be a sun. Hope everyone enjoys as much as I do!^^

 Here's a picture of it in silver =D :

Ahoy, readers!

Hey, everyone! Yeah, my artistic freedom swayed me over to the new trend, nautica wear. I was wondering on how I could give my own input to nautica wear, and the idea of ship wheel earrings came to me. They turned out pretty cute in my opinion, and look like I shrunk actual ship wheels =D. I was wanting to release them earlier, but I kept nitpicking over stuff. Yep, I would release stuff a lot earlier if I didn't nitpick. I guess that is good for a jewelry designer? Anyway, they come in both silver and gold..and my favorite of the two is gold =O. Usually I am more of a silver girl, but this gold and the wood texture really meshed well!

Here's the ad of Ahoy, Matey!:

Pearl Twists!

Hm, people might be thinking, weren't you supposed to just make casual and fun jewelry? My answer to them would be: I like pearls and pearls will be the closest to elegant jewelry as I will create. My reason is because I love casual jewelry way more than elegant jewelry. However, pearls are classic and retro and those are some aspects of me besides the funky style you normally see me create.

I -plan- on making a pearl collection that will consist of one more pair of earrings, a necklace, and a bracelet. However, I do not think these will be made in succession because I like having artistic freedom and having to create this kind of dampers the mood when I am creating. Who knows, I might release them one by one.

Anyway, the first part of the collection is called Pearl Twists. It is named that because the metal is all "twisty" with pearls dotted in between. There are 4 different variations from white and black pearls as well as silver and gold metal.

Here is the Black Pearl/Gold version of the Pearl Twists:

And here is the White Pearl/Silver version of the Pearl Twists:

If you haven't noticed, I got a new skin. Can't decide which one I like more from Sin Skins and Celestial Studios 0.0. Anyway, byeee!

Collaborations and Aeon Studded!

Well, I am finally happy that I got the items that were displayed by the lovely models of Aspire on the runway out in Digit's store and my own store. I wanted to get the items out ASAP, but Digit and I were having vendor issues so that is why they are out a few days late^.^.

I would have released them yesterday, but I was moving to a better location. Same mall, but way closer to Diversity Hair and X3D. Hopefully more people will notice my store! Anyway, lets get onto the runway items and then to my new earrings. All these items are collaborations with Digit.

First up are the belts that have been my best seller so far.

Here is the "Lots-A-Bots" belt in Gold:

The next belt is called the "Leather Darling Belt - in Silver":

Each belt comes in silver and gold metal, but the gold metal comes not only in a black belt, but also a brown one.

Last but not least, is "Three Times the Darling" in Gold:

Now for something completely different other than bots and dolls...In real life, I always wanted ridiculously large earrings, but my earlobes would be begging for mercy after a few minutes. So, I decided to make some rather large earrings to satisfy my big earring desires. These are touch-scripted with Sol's script and comes in a variety of colors =). To be honest, I had a hard time thinking of a name but finally it came to me when someone suggested "Infinity".

Here are my earrings, aptly named "Aeon Studded":
